Water meter reading is performed on the 10th day of each month. With our advanced meter reading system, each reading is obtained via a signal sent out from the antenna located within your meter box. The signal is captured by the handheld device located within our meter reader's company vehicle as he drives each individual street of the city. For more information regarding our metering system's features and capabilities, please contact our office.

Discolored Water - Morningside & Shannon Dr. Areas
May 08, 2024
This afternoon a contractor replaced a valve at our Morningside booster pump station and the construction operations caused some sediment to be stirred up in the above referenced subdivision areas. Although the water color is aesthectically unpleasant, it is not harmful. To clear up the discoloration, please turn on your outside faucet closest to your water meter and leave it on until your water runs clear. During this time, please try not to run hot water inside your home until the cold side clears up so that the discolored water is not pulled into your water heater. If you experience these issues and run your water as explained above, please call our office during normal business hours and we will run an analysis on your water meter and credit back any water that you have used in efforts to resolve this issue. Thank you for your patience and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.
